It's a Jungle Out There...

Sheleata, Buster & Long JohnSeveral animals call Morgan Terrace their home. Precious habitats have been created to accomodate the special needs of the animals. Morgan Terrace is a safe sanctuary for our feathered and furry friends.

Sheleata Kanatuna

Sheleata Kanatuna

Sheleata Kanatuna, a male, prowls his territory with great dignity. He stands watch over the back yard, the side, and front yard. He really is an outdoor cat, but Tony won't let him out the door. Instead, he gets to sit at the door and watch the dogs go for a walk, as he screams bloody murder. Cats sleep as much as 20 hours a day, and Sheleata is no different.

Long John

Long John

Long John is one long dog. With a turning radius of 2.5 feet, Long John some times gets into a bind. Sometimes, he thinks he weighs 75 pounds, and that can get him in trouble. Extremely intelligent, Long John hides his toys throughout Morgan Terrace, covering them with magazines, pillows, and burying them in the sofa.

Buster Highmen

Buster Highmen

Buster is our little street whore. He really belongs to our friend Sean, who "found" found him on the way home from work one day. (Although we think Sean kicked some kid's teeth in and stole his dog.) Having come from nothing, he's ultra-protective of what he has now. He scares all the other dogs in town by immediately showing his teeth, and then stealing their toys. As a result, he gets special attention when we have to board him, staying in the principal's office, where they feed him on top of the desk because "he wouldn't eat on the floor, and well, he's so damn cute." If looks will get you everywhere, this is your dog.
